Dinky 5 Inch Fluttershy - other shots by dot-DOLL Dinky 5 Inch Fluttershy - other shots by dot-DOLL
More shots.
I wanted to make a 15 inch plush of Twilight, so I figured I'd make a tiny test at 1/3rd scale. Fluttershy is the only one I have colours for.
Entirely hand sewn and hand embroidered, made of crappy fleece. She's not for sale.

I've decided I will take OC pony plushies in my commissions, provided they're no bigger than twelve inches or my fingers will bleeeeeeeeed! All my stuff is sewn by hand gaaahahaha the pain!
Commissions info: [link]
Commissioned ones will be made of minky and will not be as crappy XD
$45 dollars (plus $10 for head jointing) for a five inch one, any kind, though alicorns would be nearer six inches, I suppose... I can't make them proportionatley any smaller.

NO - I am not sharing patterns at this time!
YES - I will make tutorial and release patterns in the future!

Oh my god, she's incredibly adorable. I can't believe how much detail you managed to put into a plushie this small. It had to be quite a bit of (really fiddly) work.
But the result speaks for itself - all this detail and skill at such a size makes her unbelievably cute.
Also: you're a master at embroidery - her eyes are full of life. It's rare to see such quality. Ah, it's too bad you only do OCs.^^
I'm really looking forward to see more of your work.

Thank you very much! She was one of those moments where I just thought "I SHALL MAKE THAT", and I was determined to get her as cute as possible! I love dinky plushes. Her actual body and stuff wasn't hard to do, but her cutiemark! Eeehrmahgerd!

Good thing, you had that moment. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to look at this cutie now.
I can totally imagine, how hard those butterflys had to be - but personally i like this kind of work. The feeling of accomplishment afterwards is great.^^
And that feeling had to be huge after finishing the whole plush - she is just so adorable.^^

I'm not a mlp fan, but this is SUPER cute! Is there any way you could do a regular horse pattern and tutorial? I'm trying to make a plush for my friend for her birthday, but I don't know how >.<
Plz?

Thanks! Regular horses, eh? I can do. What sort of time do you need it by, and do you want super-cute-chibi or more realistic? if it's really soon, maybe not... but if I've got a few weeks to play with it, I'll give it a shot!

I'll have a shot! It'll just have to be a pattern right now, I'm afraid, my camera's too bad to make a tutorial. If I can make a tut, I'll add it afterwards.

Aw, she's so tiny and cute! I'm amazed you can sew that small. I'm trying to sew a leather jacket for a needle felt pony about that size, and man is that difficult. Awesome job!

Thank you!
Small plushies are fiddly, but the end result is so cute I just don't care XD
I've never tried making clothes that small, though... good luck with that!

Thanks! It's probably not as hard as a plush since I don't have to turn too many things out, but it is a leather jacket, so the leather is a bit tough to work with. But I shall make due :)

No, it's real leather, and it's pretty flexible, not stiff of anything, but it's pretty hard to poke holes through. I have to use one of my old felting needles to poke the holes before I sew because my upholstery needle isn't sharp enough. But I sure hope it'll look cool :)

I've seen "leather needles" in my local craft shop, so I wondered if it was something a bit specialist.
I want to make a jacket for an OC at some point so I'll give it a shot XD
